![]() When we connected to a second Japanese server, our tool indicated that we were “in Japan,” but the speeds were questionable once again. On our first Japanese server, our checks indicated that we were browsing from France. What’s more, when we checked our location with an IP address tool, we found big inconsistencies. Even top VPN providers like NordVPN don’t achieve speeds such as these. Realistically, this shouldn’t be possible. There were barely noticeable differences in our download speed when connected to servers more than 5,000 miles away. We don’t trust that these results are tied to a working, encrypted connection.
